NER CONVENTION REFUND POLICY

Upon cancellation by an attendee, the appropriate refund will be issued in like payment. Please see specific refund criteria below. Allow up to 6 weeks processing time. Refunds applied for after the end of the regular registration period will not be processed until 6 weeks after the end of the convention. Please note that payment made by credit card will be refunded to your credit card.  Separate policies have been established for registration fees, tours, events, merchandise, etc. Please read each section carefully for cancellation/refund criteria.

Cancellation of Extra Fare Event, Store Merchandise, Extra Fare Clinic or Tour

In the case of a cancellation by the convention, if an extra fare event, store merchandise, extra fare clinic or tour is canceled prior to the start of the convention; a notice will be sent to the attendee informing them of the cancellation. A full refund will be processed after 30 days of the notice if no other selection is made by the attendee.

Last minute cancellations by the convention may be exchanged for other available events, tours, etc. Refunds will not beprocessed until after the convention. Please allow up to 6 weeks processing time.

Registration Refunds

Cancellation requests should be received in writing either by standard mail (Gerald Covino, Convention Registrar, PO Box 672, Hollis, NH 03049-0672) or by e-mail (convention_registrar@nernmra.org). The following registration refund schedule applies to each individual registrant:

- 60 days prior to the start of the convention, a full refund of registration fee less a $10.00 administrative fee.

- 30 days prior to the start of the convention, a refund of registration fees less 25% (minimum of $10.00)

- Before the start of the convention, a refund of registration fees less 50% (minimum of $10.00)

- No refunds will be provided after the opening of the convention, except by approval of the NER Board of Directors.

Tour/Event Refunds for Cancelled Registrations

In case the attendee cancels a tour or non-food event associated with their registration

- 30 days prior to the start of the convention, 100% of paid tours less a $5.00 administrative fee.

- Within 30 days of the start of the convention, tour/event fees will be fully refunded only if the tour is sold out less a $5.00 administrative fee, or cancelled by the convention (no charge back for administrative fees)

Extra Fare Food Events Refunds for Cancelled Registrations

In case the attendee cancels any food event associated with their registration

- Banquet or food tickets will only be refunded if requested at least 4 business days prior to the banquet or food event, less a $5.00 administrative fee.

Extra Fare Clinic Refunds for Cancelled Registrations

In case the attendee cancels any extra fare clinic associated with their registration

- 30 days prior to the start of the convention, 100% of extra fare fees paid, less $5.00 Administrative fee.

- Within 30 days of the start of the convention, extra fare clinic fees will be fully refunded only if the clinic is sold out, less $5.00 administrative fee, or cancelled by the convention. (no charge back for administrative fees).

Auction Refunds

The convention offers no guarantee on the condition of any merchandise sold at the convention either by a vendor, won in a raffle, auction, or sold on a White Elephant table. Buyers are purchasing all items at their own risk. No refunds will be provided by the convention under any circumstances.


Other Refunds

Any other requests for refunds not covered above or any requests for exception must be submitted in writing to the NER Convention Chairman for presentation to the NER Board of Directors. Please allow up to 120 days for processing.

Refunds will be subjected to an administrative fee determined by the NER Board of Directors.
